Swedish P. Holmberg knife w/metal handle and sheath

I picked this one up today at a local pawn shop. I found some examples sort of like it but none had metal handles....5.25" blade, still very sharp.

I redid the belt loop myself from the piece that was still there but there were several kinds.....One with a chain like a watch fob, another with a leather tab that hooked onto a coat button, and one like what I recreated.

Any idea of the time period?

I did right well, picked up some others too.

Top to bottom:

German made Argentine Artillery Short Sword with matching scabbard and proper frog.

India .mil-Proofed Kukri...Dated 1964

Swedish (P. Holmberg) knife....Silver-plated steel sheath/handle.

Swedish Eric Frost Mora Stag Dress Dagger.

A decent US LF&C 1917 Trench Knife....Sadly no sheath.

I gave $225.00 for the lot.

I'm probably doing something wrong on my end, but I can't see the pictures.

Look for old Pontus Holmberg catalogues. They made some very pretty knives with metal sheaths, some with metal handles as well. The company was sold in '51 or thereabouts and closed in the '60s.

I found one that was almost like my example except it had a shorter blade....$160.00 US. No idea when it was made.

Pretty neat old school cool...... Great grab for the price....
