Hey, good to see you over here bro.

Now, WTH is that thing used for?

Cool then! And again, welcome over here!

Nice scoop  I could put something like that to use, I'm in the process of gathering parts for a press too.

Call the power company and have them pull in the 3 phase. That's a big motor !
You should be able to run a 3.5 to 4" cylinder with that. The 10GPM is on the lower side,as is the 1500PSI, but it will work. Might be a bit slow. Last unit like that I saw was used for operating a hydraulic compactor.

That great Stephanfowler: The Baldor Motor are top of the line motors and you maybe able set it up for 220V. --------------------

yea, I can figure out the 3 phase issue

and this will hopefully just be temporary until I can afford a clairborne press

Nice catch Stephen! Mentioning Ron Claibourne---he spent several hours with me yesterday, drove down from Knoxville and brought a gorgeous Bowie that was forged at his last hammer in for me to dress. His presses are absolutely awesome! ---Sandy---

ahh, that was a very nice bowie, what handle material did they end up using?
I really enjoyed seeing that piece made, and the lady who won it at IITH was just blown away

Let me know when you hook that puppy up neighbor. I'll have to explain to the wifey why we're having a brown out.
Cool grab, do I need to alert the local contractors to keep close guard on their tractors and excavators?
Sure make reducing that homemade meteor a good bit easier!
