Nice pistol grip style handle. I still like Keris Kringle better, but hey--I bought it!

There used to be another 'Sticker" floatingaround in the exchange, for those who wanna pick up some of Dan's early works. Get em now B4 their collectibles! I'm sure if you had an old knife fromm Crawford, Casper, Carson, or Busse, they'd be worth more than their weight in gold!

Dan, what did you start with? I'm guessing about a 10" flat bastard file? Is that what you usually choose? Do you do any re-tempering, or is that not necessary?

Anyway, a beautiful piece of work. I love that curly maple handle. AG Russell was going to offer their Bowie with that wood, but cancelled at the last minute in favor of desert ironwood; said that they didn't have enough of the maple on hand. You got a nice chunk of wood and did a great job with it.
