Usually when I say nice pair I am referring to something else. But that's a nice pair of knives at a good price.

Wait till Dr. D see's those? I bet he scopes them up!

Just lately you have been making the knives like these, for me they have a very strong impression: the micarta handle, full tang, workmanship looks excellent and very appealing designs, full marks on all counts! :)

Thanks! i've been advised to elaborate on my blades, not just giving the facts, but how i like them. they feel so good! i don't know if it's the micarta or the weight and balance, but i always loved small hunters/skinners. i think that will always be a fav. getting a chance to do double edges it always a thrill. i've said it before, i love my job!

Eddie,
You have quite a curriculum vitae. You webpage is very nice. Your body of work is indeed impressive.
Your descripton says these have black micarta but the pics are green. Is that an artifact or pics of duplicate knives in different color material?
What is the hardness of these blades? I know 440-C can really be right if the heat treating is good.
Small hunters and skinners are my kind of knives. I slip for an occasional Bowie but my heart belongs to the small blades

Thanks for the compliments drd...to answer...shown here are pics of black canvas, now the website has green ones. i do my own heat treating and the hardness is 57-58 RC. my wife hated the back ground, maybe thats it.

i took another shot on red background i'm posting in a moment. the finish is 'scotchbrited', dulled tactical look.

I knew it, Dr. D did scooped them, that is a great deal for two knives like that. Sheaths included for both WOW! Well done Eddie and Dr. D :)

Excellent pre-christmas purchase. That was a great buy before all the BF boys saw them tomorrow morning!

PS: what do the sheath look like? Is it a pouch style sheath?

Eddie don't give up on me, GL Drew and you are on my list to buy from. I like that hunter so much but here I go again, I would like the same thing but in a bigger version, maybe 4 1/2" handle with 4" blade, something like that. I am trying to slow down buying over Xmas so this year or next is fine? You can email me if you have something in mind.

Thanks SpearZ! You were right about DrD snatchin' em up! It's a pouch sheath you can put on a 2-in belt. If you saw any sheaths on my site, they are all about the same. knives are so new the sheaths are still forming and drying.

I will send you an email about your BIGGER needs.

letme take this post time to apoligize for the bit of confusion last nite. so far, the website has only the green one listed that I completed on 10-31-06 and it was a custom order. then, i showed that one here last wkend to take orders. i completed another green one for a BF member that i am shipping monday AND i made this black one. God bless my wife! she's tring to keep up with her own job and our website and the BF posts and the inventory, etc.
SO...a lot of times the BF members will see a knife for sale before it's actually up on my site.

THANKS ALL! This is a great place!
