Swelled Creek

Looks like a nice little excursion. I like the RSK, it replaced my cold steel mini pal as the knife I tie into the laces on my swim trunks when we go to the lake. Thinking about the TOPS thumbnail tho, if I can convince myself its worth the $. Anyway thanks for more great pics. Reminds me I need another getaway
 
awesome pics, as usual! your post actually reminded me i haven't gone hiking in awhile so i took a day off yesterday. it's now in the upper 30's here in the morning so i ended up over-sleeping. d'oh!

I have gotten into small knives over the last few years. I have a couple of TOPS' small neck knives, and I thought about the Knox Knife for this kit, but all of TOPS knives have heavy sheaths...which is great most of the time...however I wanted as thin a sheath as possible for this to allow more room for other items in the kit.

I am glad I inspired you....but a day hike in the bed doesn't sound too exciting. Does sound relaxing though :p
