I would love that too, a Caspian in LC200N would be really nice!
That would be great. It would just make perfect sense to do another Caspian Salt with a Nitrogen based steel. If Eric is really serious about doing another Caspian Salt I can assure you that I would be using one for sure.

That Caspian Salt was simply ahead of it's time. I bet the next time around it will sell much better.

Every diver that see my blunt nose Caspian want one, it's usually followed by a long face when they learn it's unobtainium.

The problem with the first Caspian was that it was sold through regular Spyderco channels, not available in dive shop. If they want to make a new one and sell a fathomload, Spyderco should partner with a dive equipment supplier(Beuchat, Mares, Aqualung etc), so that divers, who don't shop in cutlery shop necessarily, can see them and purchase them. If they don't, it will not sell either.

Same with their Tusk Mariner. Regular knife buff won't buy it much, and didn't. Had they partnered with a marine supplier so that marine enthusiast knew about it, and could easily purchase it, they would have sold a boatload(pun intended).
