Awesome post! There's nothing better than finding one in the wild. I've been to a few and I'm glad they're posted. More people should check them out as it is almost un-American not to do this at least once in your lifetime!

Hey HD, Where in WV are you. I dated a girl from Greenbank awhile ago, rafted the Gauley (sp?) love the state.

Near Huntington but I've been to Pocahontas Co many times and I've been rafting and hiking in the Gauley/New River area too.

If you like swimming holes, here's one for you. You will have it to yourself, it is in a very remote location (it took me over three days on the trail to get to that location) and very few people go there.

Ive got two great swimming holes from Auburn, where I went to college. Gotta see if I can pull up pictures. If anyone's from Auburn, or headed to the area, give me an email and I'll see if I can describe it. I just emailed the guys from the site, and described them. I'll see if they add it
