Great to see my home town and your Swiss champ touring about it. Manys the time I enjoyed chips out on the pier in Howth.

Try to have a pint in Harry Byrnes in Clontarf, great pub and was my local. Thanks mate, it's a great place.
Ah no way lol.
A brilliant thread and relevant as my big old Champ comes with us when travelling. It's always in demand from Wife and kids.We fly out tomorrow so it's time to start packing stuff up.

Thanks mate we still have a long way home so I'll still have a few more storiesThis has been fun to follow. Safe travels my friend.
Thank for the well wishes. I don't have a Vic Spirit I'll have to give one a go one day.A brilliant thread and relevant as my big old Champ comes with us when travelling. It's always in demand from Wife and kids.
I decided to retire it from hard duties as I found I needed a more stout pliers that the one in my Champ which was being abused.
The new Vic Spirit should do the job.
Wish you and the family safe travels.
Not wrong Jim sad to leave, but there's no place like home. Hot and dryDan, youโve had a good trip. Always bitter sweet to head home when visiting family when the kids are young.
Do it mate. I'd be lost without mine. I have a few other knives but this one brings back alot of memories. It's one of my favourites.sonofwilfred
I love threads like these. I've always doubted the utility of something the size of the Swisschamp, but between you andBuzzbait , I'm seriously considering adding one to my rotation.
I cut open two cushions and took the stuffing out of them so they will fit in our bags.
Nanna doesn't think we have places to buy cushions in Outback Australia
