swiss champ opinions?

...In regard to the magnifying glass, I was surprised at how well it worked. I was also a little surprised to see it made entirely of plastic, because in the pictures it appears to be a darker material surrounding the lense. Still, I was pleased with how well it worked.

The earlier versions used a mineral crystal lens surrounded with a gray plastic frame. Later versions employ a plastic lens with an integral clear plastic frame.

Bought one when they first came out used it for ~12 years. broke the main blade reground it, broke the magnifying lens, wore out the file, dulled the saw, rounded the phillips, cracked the handles anyway it served me very well.

I sent it back to Victorinox asking them if they could repair it along with a letter admitting that it was abused a bit.


Well...........two weeks later a Brand new Swiss champ arrived in the mail no charge.. :thumbup:......with more tools then the old one
