Switchplier

I just received a Switchplier yesterday, and overall it is a great knife. However, one thing that I noticed was that when the knife blade (or any other tools) lock into position, there is a little bit of blade play. Is this normal?

I'm glad to hear you got a SwitchPlier. Regarding blade play, a small amount for this kind of locking device is normal, but the definition of "small" differs from person to person. If you feel there is more than a small amount of play, it is irritating to use as it presently is, or more importantly, unsafe to use, we will certainly take care of that for you.
