Sword by Sher -- $195 and UBBB

Thank you Zal. It was killing me also. I want it as I want everything posted. Great deal and make sure you give a report.

Yeah. And you didn't have to pay $175. :D

I can hardly wait. (Weight? Whoo, what a monster.)

Guess the congrats goes to Zal. Too bad Josh.

I personally prefer my old "machete style" Bir Ghorka Tarwar made by Bura. It better suits my style and my abilities.

I sure like the looks of that style, too. Uncle Bill, think we'll ever see those again ?

Well, uh...yeah - that's the picture from the shopping site alright ;) However, I'd gotten the impression that the ones Uncle Bill has been getting lately were more along the lines of this Sher model (i.e. looked more like the Tibetan Sword). Perhaps I'm mistaken though...

Furguson, is that a Kriswell Katana I see at the bottom?
Any other NON HI swords on that wall.
Also, please list names of swords, if you remember.
thanks.

Yep. From top to bottom.
1. Paul Chen Shinto Katana
2. Sabre by Bura
3. Front-Khyber knife by Atlanta Cutlery; Rear-Phillipine tourist parang?
4. 30" Kobra by Sanu
5&6. Horn & wood handled tibetan sword by Sher.
7. Front-Antique Salawar Yataghan (khyber knife)
Rear - Kris Cutlery Sundang
8. Rob Criswell Katana in differentially hardened A-2. (can anybody tell me how he does that with an air hardening steel?)

Gotta love those HI swords!
Steve

Ferguson, do you have a pic of the Philippine Parang? Cant quite make it out from behind the khyber knife.
