Here's a sword ready to go...
S-7 tool steel, 1/4" thick, just under 2lb 6oz,
36 5/8" OAL
hand-rubbed finish (400/600, which is 400 on the whole blade then I pull 600 on the bevels)
balance 3 3/8" in front of the turk's head
Vacuum impregnated epoxy cord-wrap
