shipping via USPS with tracking is included to the price for U.S. buyers...all others best email me first....ekim60618@yahoo.com

this is my personal user sword and knife/dagger set by John Gage. they have gone through paces so instead of sending them back for a touch up, i am selling them as is so that the next owner may use them as they were intended to be....THEN you can maybe send them back to John for a clean up.

they are stained and have little rust spots but no pitting.

the short sword has 18" of blade and weighs less than 2lbs. moves really well (i have a clip of me testing the sword for swinging action if you are interested to see what i mean...) i have not sharpened this sword but it's still sharp to cut milk gallons, plastic bottles, aluminum cans, bamboo...etc. no damage to the edge. the grind on the sides of the ridgeline is hollow and the edge is convex...really a well built sword.

the dagger has always been dull since i use it for training and it was my thrower knife...no damages whatsoever. it is capable of taking a really sharp edge if you wanted to do so.

the recurve knife is still somewhat sharp but again i've cut boxes and cans with it...it can use a touch up.

i'm selling the whole set for $400 (sold pending funds)

just wanted to add more description for the KANETSUNE short sword...this is what i got from the seller.....
Seki City, the City of Blades, is the 800-year-old blade capital of Japan.

This knife is made by Kanetsune Seki one of the few master craftsmen of Japanese swords and knives.

The master inherited Seki-den, 800 years of secrets that create extraordinarily sharp Japanes blades, which are notable, yet will not fracture or bend.

You will be amazed at the quality and construction of this knife.

It has a heavy 14" white Damascus steel blade and a magnolia handle with black cord wrap.

It comes with a wooden sheath wich has leather straps. The sheath is as much a piece of art as the blade.

The balance and beauty of this strong and reliable, razor sharp knife is a wonder to behold.

If you love well made things, that will last and function for generations, this is the knife for you.

It is made out of Damascus white steel, a type of ultra-high carbon steel. White steel, has been used for creating Japanes hunting knives from ancient times, it has long lasting sharpness and repels oils.

This knife is mad by Kanetsune a member of the outdoor knifemakers guild in Seki Japan.

See my other auctions for high quality knives which will be cherished for generations.

This knife has an MSRP of $414.95, if you can find one.

This is one of the best knives I have ever held.

It is a superlative variety for select people, employing the secret art of Kanetsunes Seki-den which possess incredible sharpness.

Holding this knife is a gift and, deep inside you know it's going to be worth it!

Thank you, Jeff.

Question on Kanetsune - description says 14" blade but the ruler shows it to have an 18" blade?
