I need to trim my collection a bit...these pieces need new owners.

instead of taking up several threads...i will consolidate my "for sale" items in this thread, so please be patient...i will add pics as time permits.

payment method: check, money order, paypal (3% fee applies)

prices include shipping, insurance is extra.

non-U.S. buyers must contact me first to find out shipping cost.

these swords are made and have been used for Filipino martial arts training. all are very light and fast, and well balanced. i have used them to cut plastic bottles, cans, and 1/2" inch sapplings.

all high carbon steels 1095, except for the ginunting, which is 5160.

1. talibong garab with a wicked 18.5 inches blade. $100 now $85

2. 19" pinuti with nice kamagong (iron wood) handle, polished buffalo guard and ferrule in the middle of handle. $150 now $125

3. sword and knife set, with a very nice two-toned and piggy-backed sheath one side of which is iron wood, and the other is a lighter hard wood of yakal. guard is made of thick aluminum for lightness...and these two are fast. sword has 21" blade, while the knife has 9" blade. perfect set for Espada y Daga training. $200 now $165

4. Visayan ginunting, very powerful cutting tool popularized by Pekiti Tirsia / Dekiti Tirsia sytem of Kali. 18" inch blade of 5160 steel. blackened iron guard and ferrule, ebony iron wood handle. very lively in the hand. $125 SOLD

i also have high end custom aluminum trainers, but i have to take pictures of them. they all have hand carved kamagong/ iron wood handles and not your typical cord wrap. the best trainers i've seen without breaking your bank. $$125 (now $115) each you can compare these to other custom trainers which costs more....you can't beat this price.

i have them in ginunting, northern Luzon region bolo, Leyte sansibars.

Can you advise who made the ginunting please?

the same maker of Traditional Filipino Weapons dot com.

the top sword is by the famous local panday (black smith) Jun Silva.

others are made by local pandays from Leyte.

thanks chugokujin...ginunting is yours.
