• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

If Spyderco didn't have to "rivet" all of their knives together I would probably buy some of them. I like to take my folders apart and clean them once and a while. That's why I bought a BM. Does this bother anyone else about Spyderco?

Not all of their knives are riveted or pinned together. I used to own a first model Military (ruff ruff) that I had to take apart regularly to keep it working.

In the stainless models that I own, I find gun scrubber or, even better, brake parts cleaner works wonders for flushing them out.

Whoa Joel! Watch out for that Gun Scrubber! They work fine as long as its not used on plastic/ nylon spacers/ bushings. Gun Scrubber can literally MELT some of them away. Otherwise its great for flushing out.

Brake and electrical parts cleaner dissolves some plastics too. Alcohol is the safest thing.

Sure they make rivetted knives, but there's plenty of take-aparts too
