My SYKCO Alpha Regulator landed today and it's an awesome piece of hardware as expected.

Feels light for the size and of course the classic Regulator Res-C grip feels like a warm bubble bath in hand (not saying I ever take those). The grind on this one should make it quite handy at just about any task thrown its way.

Here is is pictured by my original Regulator and another, the model escapes me if someone wants to help out ;)

Looks even more awesome than I expected!!! Going to be a great beater without a doubt.

Bubble bath big stud? ..... Hmmmm..... I fold :eek:o_O:confused:

A little lighter than I was expecting, and that's a good thing in my book. But we need more deets - how thick is it behind the edge, where's the balance point?

I get .047 right behind the cutting edge, which I should also mention is exceptionally sharp, no need to touch it up.

Balance point is right between the S & Y in SYKCO ... your knife... will chop. But balanced enough to still feel light in hand IMO.

What struck me the most is how much it looked like this old favorite...
