Synthetic Handle Hawk Help

I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a synthetic handle for my hawk. Also if the handle hole 1.25X3/8X1 would be large enough for a synthetic handle to have the strength needed.

It is a small hawk I would like for small camp chores hammer if needed fire wood primarily.

Also any where I can get it blued or coated?

Any input is appreciated

if that one does not work for ya just do a google product search.....

The handles that come up mostly do not give a messurment size....but a little fitting never hurt no one



that looks like a Der Mt. Forge except the eye is different...did you make it where did you get it if you do not mind me asking...

Never finished reading your post. I got the hawk from Deer Mountain Forge he does some really nice damascus too, I just want it for a little camp axe. I am going to have it duracoated.

what color are you going to dura coat it?
