This is one of Joe's "Flippers" with black blued damascus and torched titanium frame and liners from about 2010. The design is carved (deep relief) into the frame. The flipper in combination with the shape of the frame form a guard when the knife is fully opened. Additional photos here. The piece is much more stunning than the images reflect and every bit of the piece was done by Joe. Price is $1250 to your door if you live in the USA. No trades. No shipping outside of the USA. You need to update your usergroup to show you have a paid membership.To do this

Click on Settings (top right) -> Permissions Groups and update your group display
 
The knife measures 8 1/4" overall. 4 3/4" closed and the blade is a smidge over 3 1/2". I do not have the means to weigh the piece correctly. It does have a bit of heft to it but isn't what I would call heavy having a titanium frame. Knife is in perfect condition.
