SPFWant to thank all those who have helped make this Pre-Launch a success. Your support is greatly appreciated and has given me the Push needed to take this to the next level.
Appreciate all of the kind words and hope you enjoy your blades as much as I enjoyed making them!

One of the T-6 Fighters last two Prototype blades. The other is in the Gallery but needs to be Re-Shot and should be ready by next week.
Wanted to add a Bit of color so this one has Red Liners under the scales. Compound grind has been finalized IMO with a Flat False Edge, Convex Point and a Hollow Primary Edge. This design should address most of the issues that might cause a blade like this to fail. Remember it is a Knife not a Pry-bar, Axe or Hammer.
Blade is done in 3/16” O1 tool steel and is 5 7/8” tip to front of scales
11 ¼” OAL with the balance point right where the Lanyard hole is at the Ricasso just a touch blade heavy. Which is what I prefer. Patina finish over a 600grit Bead Blast
Carbon Fiber scales with red liners and Machine screw retention.
Please feel free to weigh in with “Constructive ideas” before the others hit the grinder!

I think it turned out quite well. Those compound grinds remind me of Kikuo Matsuda's work.

I was fortunate enough to get my hands on one of the other prototypes. Best blade I've ever had in hand, can't say enough about it. Swipe it up!!!!

I really like the compound grind on this blade! It's not "over the top" as I have seen on other knives. Theres a lot going on in this knife, but it all looks well thought out, and not too busy. I wish I had the extra cash for it!

Okay, I just came across this post, and since it's a prototype pre-launch, where and when can I get one when it's in production? Looks fantastic!

Thanks for the kind words and viewing my work.
Not really a production run but a limited numbered run is in the works in the next Month or so.
The end product will be very close to this with a few tweeks and minor changes.
If you like I will Put your name on the list. PM or Email me...
No Down Pmt or any of that stuff needed just your word.
They will be a bit more expensive as they will have a Professionally applied finish by Robar.
