I ment to post this a few months ago when I uncovered this problem. I have/had a handful of these T-88 epoxy cartridges. I love these because as the label says thy are goofproof. Well when I went to use it (used cartridge in the gun) I discovered it had leaked quite a bit. But not out of the opened caped end. It leaked quite a bit out of the plunger side and all over and down inside my 3M cartridge gun. So I thought it was maybe because it was opened and left in the gun from a few months befor So I stripped the gun down and cleaned every part and reassembled it. I reached into the glue/epoxy box and pulled out another open but capped one that had about half used and it also leaked out the plunger side. So back into the box I went and grabbed a new one still in the package. Same thing, leaked out of the plunger and coated the inside of the packaging. I kept digging and thy all have leaked out. Thy are virtually useless as there is no way I'm sticking these sticky gooey things back into my expensive 3M cartridge gun. Any advice, I thought about calling and complaining but wanted to see what you guys thought. I did not take pictures of all of them just the opened one in the bag and one that was new. I was rather frustrated after the cleanup ordeal that I think I tossed most of them in the trash but these where left on the table. Thanks guys

Yep.
Tell em you dont want to put that crap in your gun.

Only thing they might be able to throw at you is how you had it stored.. ie too hot too cold but i bet that wasnt the cause.

Never been a fan of 2 part mixing Nozzles . At least with construction grade ones. Just didnt teust rhat they mixxed well.

Are there dates on any of the packages? All of the 3M products I have experience with, for example, have shelf lives, and short ones, too. Not sure if that’s an out for them in a circumstance like this, but best to know beforehand...

Thanks guys, up until thy got put into the shop thy where in the house which stays at 70° all year long. Weird thing is I have a very old (10year+) 3M half used epoxy cartrige from when I got this gun and it's still fine. I say I just got them but thy are about a year old and thy where just delivered to woodcrafters at the time of purchase. I will have a look at the date. Thanks guys.

That's a cartridge issue not an epoxy issue. I've used several cases of loctite ea120hp and a case of 5 minute out of those tubes and never had any leakage whatsoever. If that happened in my $90 loctite dispenser gun I'd definitely be calling to complain. At minimum I'd expect them to send a new case of epoxy.

I went and looked at the last 2 remaining cartridges and there is not a date just what I think is a manufacture batch number.

I'd take your pictures and go to their site and submit an inquiry. It gives you the option to upload files. Use the link I posted. Worst case scenario is the one you're already in.

I'd probably phone rather than submit something online. I always seem to get better service that way
