Any problems with T.A.D. Gear, Inc.? They don't answer their phone and the voice mailbox is full.
 
per cheers and jeers on CPF, sounds like filling orders and order communication is iffy with TAD at the moment.
 
I have made a few orders with TAD...while they are not the most talkative guys around, the orders have always arrived very quickly and I would not hesitate to do business with them again....I say put your order in online and wait by the door for it to arrive :)

Just for info, I believe that their telephone and PC lines were just connected at the new location today.

TAD has taken good care of me in the past when I have ordered from them, both on the purchase end as well as when I needed to return an item to them.

Tough to find a vendor as good as TAD. Evan and the guys rock! just give them a bit of time and they should be back up and running sir.

I've placed 2 orders with TAD. One I received, the other I cancelled after 20 days of poor communication and no follow up.

First order took over 3 weeks to get from time of order. I'll take my business elsewhere. And yes, check out CPF. I'm not alone in my opinion of TAD
 
i've dealt with TAD gear for both purchasing, and on a return.
Quick, friendly, no hassles.
Ya gotta give them a little time, if moving their entire operations is involved.
i would gladly do business with them again.
Just my two cents worth.
 
Multiple orders have arrived quickly...I've never had a doubt from way back with these guys.

I didn't have a good experience with them either. They didn't keep good communications with me and there was always some excuse for their shortcomings so it sounds like other forums members are experiencing the "run-around" I experienced as well. My apologies to all those out there, I feel you deserve better.

They are 0 for 3 with me. I swore I'd never do business with TAD again after the first time when I was lied to and given the runaround about a knife that was being replaced "no questions asked". Over time, having cooled off, seen positive feedback, etc, I decided it was probably an isolated incident, and placed a preorder with them. Guess the fact they didn't follow up on that as it indicated they would when I placed the order, and having to call them later to find out what the situation was should have warned me off, but I went ahead and placed an order for some stuff I wanted. Got a call from Evan that one item was out of stock, so I changed it for another. When that didn't arrive with the order, I called to see about it, and he basically called me a liar, claimed to have never talked to me...I did mention that HE called me, right? Idiot.
I quickly lost interest in talking to someone giving me a hard time about trying to buy something from him-this is over a $25 SOE multitool pouch :rolleyes: , said to forget it, and canceled my preordered item, too.
It's a shame, because they have a nice website, tons of cool stuff, great pics. It would be great having one place to feed my gear habit, and I guess the selection is really why I tried them again. I'd be a regular customer except for the fact that they are by far the worst dealer I have ever bought from.
 
I called to check on an item's availability. They said that it wasn't available, then said it was, then said it was wasn't. After being put on hold for over 5 minutes, I tired of the run around and hung up. Two minutes later they called me and and asked why I hung up. After I made a simple explanation, they hung up on me. The person that I talked to was a nerd. :(
