Dang. I've been waiting for one in that range. Oh well. Nice snag. I'm sure it'll be worth every penny.

Texas Slim keep watching you will get the right one someday.;)
And this one is worth every penny and then some.
You will have to ask Mike when he has it in hand. :D

Thanks for the reply, you too Bruce.

Take care.

Indeed it is a good snag!! The knife arrived (along with a very cool pouch). On first look fit and finish is superb! It's got a great shape and feel. I'll get back when I've had a chance to play with it a little more.

Thanks, Todd!

I've been carrying this piece around now for about a week (yes, in a pouch/purse), and I have yet to find one think wrong with it. Some knives I buy because they'll fill a hole in my collection. Others because I just want it. I bought Todd's blade because I'd been looking at his work for a long time, and I just wanted one... One also buys a knife because they need it. I realize now I actually need this knife. It fits so many niches. At 56 grams it's less than 2 oz. I don't even know it's there. The Black Ash scales give it a masculine look. What I like most is the blade shape. I'm a fan of single blade knives, esp. trapper styles. This knife is right there, and with that bit of a "spatula" shape to it, it makes the blade easy to pinch to open, which is great for one with weak nails. I guess it's worth mentioning too, that it has a sheeple friendliness about it, which also works well with me as I'm often out on business, in public when I use it. Needless to say the fit and finish (a nice satin) is outstanding. The walk, talk and half-stop are all very positive. All in all this is a great blade that has found a solid position in my edc. Thanks Todd for the great job!

Mike

Looks like a great blade design. Almost like it has been pulllllled out some at the tip? I like it. 'Spatula' -shaped is a good description, Mike.
Nice snag!
