nice one, todd.
is it my imagination, or is the blade on that one thicker than usual?
it looks pretty stout!

It is a stout knife, for a slippy. :)

The blade & spring steel is 1/8''

Thanks!

Thanks for the great compliments, I do appreciate them all.

Whoa! Sweet knife, I wish I could get one someday! Even though I don't expect to be able to afford one in the forseeable future I have to say your's are some of the best looking slippies I have seen anywhere!

Damn I missed another one!:grumpy: I know I sound like a broken record but Todd your stuff is great. I really like the one I bought a while back and I hope to add more in the future!
I came really close to pulling the trigger on #313 in stag but you know what they say, "If you snooze you lose." Keep up the good work.;)

well i am the lucky guy who nabbed T.A. Davison #317. am i happy ? yes, ecstatic. this knife does not reveal itself fully in pics. (mine or Todd's).
the more i look at, the more i handle it, the more i see how perfect EVERYTHING is.
the fit and finish is so perfect, there cannot be any level of workmanship above this. the action is buttery smooth(have never felt this before), and the inside of the spring is file worked, so when you look into the liners, the backspring reflects the light like a string of pearls. the fit in the hand and balance is absolutely 100% too. i bought a knife, but i got more than that, the pleasure, satisfaction, and awe that i feel eveytime i hold it or even think about it. i have a fancy large Sebenza that cost 2x as much, but it still seems rather generic, whereas Todd's exudes personality and connection, as if it is saying "i am yours".
sheath is no slouch either, and again you gotta see it to "feel" it. v. sweet touch, lined with soft deer hide, to cuddle the "baby".
i had emailed Todd a couple of days before he posted this knife, asking how i could get him to make me a knife. then #317 shows up, the perfect knife for me. essential, not "too much" decoration, a beautiful "user". so luckily i "nabbed" it right away 'cause it would not have been unsold long.
why not get the best knife you can to use ?
so THANK YOU Todd. i got a great knife

Roland - Very nice catch. That is one good looking knife. I had Todd making a sway back for me which i will be posting pictures for this weekend. He makes a really fantastic knife - in any style!!
You got a really good looking one.
Todd has several others posted in the Knife Makers Gallery with some fantastic stag - particularly the Back Pocket style.
Nice work Todd

Very nice Roland!

I have two of Todd's fine knives...#65 in Mesquite...and #90 that he made for me, in Desert Ironwood and Copper.

I think his work is really topnotch.

What? Todd is putting belt loops on the cases now? :D Congratulations. I've told Todd that I'm glad he hasn't been posting many here in the for sale area but showing the sold ones off in the other forum...keeps me from buying more! Todd's craftsmanship and artistry really are first rate.

Yeah, I noticed the addition of the belt loop too. Now the perfect package is complete.
