looks cool, but I would LOVE that as a folder - has more of a wide, bowie-blade than you use for the folders, & it looks awesome!

Wow I was looking for the finger nick and the price was amazing for a folder like that.

What would a folder like that look like and cost? Ivory would be real nice.

Thanks for the comments gents, I made this knife from a folder that will show up here some time?
price??... 450 - 475 depending on scales.

I think this is one my best fix blade knives I've made, will make a great user.

Take care.

Todd

Very nice Todd! It does have the look of your folders, especially with the inlaid shield. Gonna be a nice score for someone.

Thank you all ! I do appreciate it.

The knife is hollow ground, and hand finished.

Thanks again, good night.

i think a choil or guard to protect slippery hands is good on a FB. but that might just disrupt the whole look and esthetic balance ? roland

Very nice. Is the sheath for the belt or the pocket? Is there a pic of it we could see?

How many fixed blades have you made? Thanks.

Try the A.G. Russell Folding Hunter (discontinued) - or save up for a much nicer one from Todd ;).

Wow... that is a really nice fixed blade - looks to be a superb EDC for the outdoorsman, but classy enough for city carry.

This knife is made with 1/8'' thick steel.
The sheath is a belt type for carrying.
And I've made fixed blade knives for over 20 years.
( So there are fixed blade knives of mine out there, most owners will not let go of them. )

I do appreciate all the fine comments, thank you!

This knife is SOLD - Thank you!.

What a set that and a matching folder would make........

That's EXACTLY what I thought when I saw the pic...

Man, this thing has some crazy immediate eye appeal  I also wonder if you would mess up the lines with just a bit of a guard.

VERY nice bro

I missed this one first time around. These are really great and as said above a set w/ a folder would be cool!!

Thank you for the fine compliments on the knife.

I posted this photo in another thread, but here it is again.

Pocket knives to match...:confused::D maybe? maybe?

Later

Todd
