T.A. Davison Knives (Down the Custom Rabbit Hole)

Todd has stepped up his game, producing some beautiful knives. But I do miss the emails.

I picked this up on the second hand market, but it's basically new. I didn't think I would like it due to the vivid blue color, but it is a fantastic knife in person! The blade is parkerized?, or has some kind of coating on it.

I haven’t seen many knives by Todd with no liners, nice find glennbad glennbad that vivid blue looks like the same knife posted by a member in Todd’s closed thread.

It probably is the same knife. I bought it second hand, but you could hardly tell. I have another of his with no liners, carbon fiber. So darn light, hardly any weight at all. I'll have to snap a pic of it.

good information, I didn't realize he made that many without liners, must be nice to carry in the summertime when wearing shorts
with no liners were these also numbered

A few years back he made quite a few liner-less knives, with a concomitant price reduction. 1890 has what he calls G-Carta handles. Due to the low price, I believe it is liner-less. I am interested in knowing the number of the one with carbon fiber handles.

From 1880 to 1914 he did 13 with G-10 liners, also at lower prices. I am missing information for 1092, so if anyone wants to chime in, thanks.

All were numbered. Alas, I did not enter liner information. It is something of which all Toddophiles should be aware if purchasing on the secondary market. I am sure the knives are fine, but don't assume what you buy will have liners unless you verify first.
