I have up for grabs a stag horn T. A. Davison slipjoint in what I would
call user condition. There is a stabilized hairline crack that runs across
one side of the exceptional stag horn scales. The bolsters have microfine
scratches which could easily be removed with a fluff and buff in the
Davison shop. The crack is barely discernible until you nose up on the
knife and can barely be felt when you run a nail across the scale. I imagine
this could be even further polished out in a refurb trip. All said and told it's
an exceptional example despite the defects and would make a very nice
Actual Use Knife rather than a safe queen. This is knife number 140 (as stamped
inside) and the tension bar has filework along with the back of the blade.
Check out the pictures and let me know if you have any questions.
Payment can be via Paypal (include fees as calculated here). The first "I'll
take it" owns the knife upon receipt of payment. Shipping is Priority + Ins.
USA sales only for the time being as I don't have time for the paperwork next week.
$225
Blade length is 3" .. Overall length (open) is 6.25".. Length closed is a hair over 3.73"
The crack is pictured in the closeup of the maker's mark...
