Jason, nice group you have there. What kind of bone is that on your mini copperlock?

It's called Amber Jigged Bone I believe.

Thanks, Eric!

The jigging is not as deep on the back side or the non-shield side. It also doesn't look as good in person as it does in the first photo that you commented on. I think over time it will look more natural through pocket wear and use. It is one of my favorite knives, and I won it in a GAW here at the forum.

How do you like the bone trapper?

I really like it. It's a great size (5-3/4" overall), and the blade shape and steel (D2) are awesome. BHK did a really nice job on these, and the bone looks great in person.

Never been much of a fan of neck knives, but the sheath that comes with these is well done and unlike any other neck sheath I've seen. I wouldn't wear it that way all this time, but when I'm in the woods, and/or as a compliment to a larger belt knife, it works well. I would also like to figure out a piggyback set up for it, so it can ride in tandem with a larger belt knife when I don't want it on my neck. BHK also makes a hip sheath for it if neck knives aren't your thing.

I love that half Congress, and the Border Collie behind it!

My favorite bone handled gunstock today, with a newcomer Case Moose in my watch pocket.

It looks staged, but she simply ran into the shot and stopped as I took the picture. Silly wee dog. :)
