T~bone Tuesday

I haven't carried it in a while, because I've bought way too many new knives. Most of them GEC. So, I am going to be packing my avatar knife today.

Great looking knife, Ed. May I ask you who was the maker? What steel is the blade?

It´s really a beauty, my friend!

Man.... I love the Copperhead Jigged Bone made by GEC (here´s an example on the #12 Powderhorn Jack)

Very nice knives everyone.

Two sleeve board penknives.

Beautiful S-K :)

I was over in Sheffield today, so sad to see factory after factory just being left to fall down (will post pics tomorrow) :(

-- Mighty fine looker, that one.

Is it a "favorite" yet? ;)

I like it a lot but can't decide how long my "temporary" ownership will be.

If it goes in my pocket, it might be a long-term relationship.

I love this thread,ya can't beat some nice bone IMO.
Here's a nice old Ulster I got off Ebay not long ago.
I had to take the main down a bit to get rid of some bad grind marks, but there is still plenty of cuttin' left in it.
Love the same side nicks too.

Jeff Mutz in California made it and the steel is 1095. Nicely heat treated and holds an edge very well.
