Sam

Thanks Sam, its definitely one of my favorites. I've actually been carrying it the last few days but switched out yesterday to a 440C #48 trapper for the day. It was the hottest day of the year so far and very humid... Happy September!! lol. Beautiful #15!!

Trand and Sam those both together makes my heart skip a few beats. I have got to save up for an Ken Erickson one day!

An SFO of Charlie's and a Schrade Walden 236 that I is just calling for me to start carrying it. I love the black peachseed on it.

Hope you all have a great week.

Thanks Brett. Ken does beautiful work!! Beautiful knives. I believe Charlie had a peach seed #66 Moose too...

MY goodness, that's beautiful. BOTH nail nicks for RH use, and rounded bolsters.

Thanks again. Ken really knocked it out of the park with this one. The blade steel on this one is CPM-D2.

I need help Bro. :D The top knife is marked Pauls Bros NY, 1880 to 1900, a merchant manufacturer with offices in NY and Solingen. The jigging is a dead ringer for some of the Camillus bone but Levine says they are German. I found a Krusius on the auction site that had identical bone and close blades. Not sure what it is.
The beast is a Kingston, just marked made in USA, according to Levine they were made for the US Army. The bone and jigging is very much like the Remington bone (Rogers??) that Pal used during the war. It's a tank of a knife, all the liners are doubled.
The tiny jack Is marked Shumate St Louis, a wholesaler who closed in 1928. Not sure who might have made it, nice crisp jigging
that feels like German jigging to me.
The big Remington jack was a beauty, this one is a bit of a wreck, but the bone is amazing IMO.
Best regards
Robin

Well the reason I guess Schrade Cut Co is because I have a knife that is a dead ringer for the shape but upon closer inspection the bone pick bone is a little different. Your shield is a little fatter on the bottom than the typical Schrade Cut...so I just don't know.

No certain about the Kingston but to me the bone looks like different jigging from one side to the other. And I remember that there was quite the convoluted history during this time. For instance between that of Camillus and Schrade..both made knives for each other.

Sorry, I am of no help at all:eek:

Here is some shots I just took:

Top to bottom: Schrade Cut Co...Norvell Shapleigh....PAL BLADE CO/Made in USA....Imperial

Thanks Gev,GREAT knives. A person could spend a lifetime studying jigging. That Shapleigh has incredible jigging.
