Having just been the recipient of Dan (silenthunterstudio)'s extreme generosity (documented here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1086455-A-huge-thank-you-to-Dan-%28silenthunterstudios%29!) I decided I need to stay one step ahead of the game and give away another knife of my own!
What we've got here: A Case XX 9-dot 2138 Full-size Sodbuster with a CV blade and black delrin covers. From my google-fu the 9 dots and stamp date this one back to 1971 (please correct me if I'm mistaken!)
This thing is in awesome condition, it seems to have barely been used. Doesn't look like its ever been sharpened and still has a working edge. Medium pull, HUGE snap, ZERO play. Off-centered in the closed but NO rubbing. No cracks or gaps. Sweet hard-working knife, however she is a BEAST! Maybe one of you manlier men (or womanlier women!) can handle her better than myself
This one is open to all traditionalists (post count is irrelevant, we can spot you if you're one of us
) And the criteria? Let's see some summery pictures of something you've done this summer! Doesn't matter what! Post a picture and some variation of "I'm in" and you're in! I'll let this run for a week and pick a winner on the morning of Tuesday the 16th via random number generator. If you're outside the states, no worries, I'll ship wherever.
