I just had to revist my obsession with titanium:

-Chris Reeve large lefty Sebenza
-wedding ring
-Omega Seasmaster Professional
-Oakley X-Metal XX
-money clip

What's your obsession? :D

This is off topic, really, but I really like the Sebenza with the clip mounted for tip down carry. Did you do that yourself, or did you have that done?

The deep pocket carry clip is like what was on the EDI Genesis folder line. I got some of them from Darrel Ralph. I modified the Sebbie myself on my drum sander then sent it to Reese Weiland to have the holes for the clip drilled and tapped and the handle re-beadblasted.

Do you find the Oakleys to be more "durable" than the typical plastic frames?

Regular Oakleys have always seemed, to me, to be a bit delicate given the price.

The Oakley X-Metal series is, IMHO, the most durable of all Oakley's line. I've gone through at least 12 pairs of Oakleys, all plastic, and they all broke at the earstem hinge. The XXs are my longest lasting pair of Oakleys. I wear 'em just about everyday. The X-Metal line is a bit pricier, but very much well worth it. You won't have to buy another pair ever again. Besides, you can get good bargains from eBay. I got a pair for myself and my wife there. Saved at least $100 each.

I recently picked up my first titanium watch - a Wegner Swiss Military for around $100 at Sam's club. I never realized that a metal watch could be so light !

Very nice.
