I purchased this knife directly from the maker. It has never been carried, used, or sharpened. Blade is of 3/16", 1095 steel with tapered tang, hand rubbed to 2000 grit, and etched to highlight a nice hamon. Blade is ground to near zero, with secondary bevel to prevent chipping. The blade's spine is slightly radiused for batoning, and with the spine's edges left sharp for striking a fire steel. Thumb jimping on spine. The scales are of stabilized Koa wood from burl source. 8 - 10 ounce Wickett & Craig leather belt sheath with matching fire steel. Package includes two - sided leather strop (was used by the maker) and honing compound. Price is $245 shipped via PayPal Goods & Services, US sale only. No trades, please.
