I sent two of my knives off to be sharpened by T. L. E. When he first set up here on the forums because his prices were pretty much unbeatable. I have also been striving for that ideal mirror edge for so long to no avail, and he could pull it off. I got the knives back a few weeks ago but I refused to post them up until I was happy with the stropping done on the edges, because you know what they can always be better, and I didn't pay for stropping, so I figured I would do it myself before I show the knives off. If my photography skills didn't suck, it would be even better because these edges are fantastic. I didn't really up the shine level, I just upped the sharpness a little with stropping because you can't really get more mirror than mirror. I will say I am quite happy, because I can't really get this level of sharpness by myself, and these knives were a real pain to sharpen, and the sharpness level and balance of the edge are spot on.
