T.M.Hunt Mohawk pack axe

Here's a little number I whipped up out of a oddly shaped piece of 01 laying around the shop. Its 15 1/2in. long and 1/4 in. Thick with curly maple handles. Thanks for looking, comments welclome.

Very nice. Looks like it would handle well. The curly maple looks great, nice grain.

Looks great, seems like a backpacker's best friend. I haven't seen a handle design like that on a hawk/hatchet, that maple is georgous! I also like how the handle isn't that wide, lot's of full tang hawks have pretty wide, and thick handles. This one looks like it would still retain more weight in the head, where it should be. Very nice!
