T.M. Hunt Yuma model

No kidding? Damn. I'm trying to think of a good joke here, but.. damn. All I had to lay on the table is you'd be closer to Todd's knife shop. But that ain't worth 5 toes. Or 1.
Oh, wait..it came to me.
So, even if you don't live here, there will always be a part of you in Indiana? :foot:

Well...since my shoes had frozen and started breaking away, and I lost a good bit of blood in the more than a foot of snow before I found an overpass to get under, check myself out, and bandage myself up...I suppose you do have a point :) . It's a 6 hour drive up to your area, I'll try to come up next summer when there is no chance for a freak blizzard :D

I know this is an old thread, but just wondering how you feel about this knife after a few more years of use? I am considering a Yuma and/or possibly the Magua as well. Also, I noticed the use of a firesteel in some of your photos but the spine of that knife appears to have a small bevel. Are you able to throw sparks off a ferro rod with that knife? Thanks.

Yes, there is a small bevel on the top of the blade, that's how I make them if the customer does not specify otherwise.... Funny you mention if he was able to throw sparks with it. I've known Mistwalker for a few years now and he is comfortable to use any of my stuff to his fullest ability. In other words, he knows I don't like my stuff to be babied. Anyway, there is a picture of my Yuma throwing sparks from a ferro rod by using the sharpened edge on the cover of Self Reliance Illistrated issue 14. The editor told me that they took a lot of crap over that pic from suscribers because it was the sharpened edge. I kinda had a good laugh over it because I know my knife would take it......

Anyway, remember, this is a 100% custom shop, so if you want one of the said knives, and want the spine of the blade unbeveled for striking on a rod, you sir, can have it.
