Hey everyone, hope it's a good Monday for ya!

Funding a build that's way more than I should ever pay for a knife, but we all know how that number steadily increases...

What I'm offering for sale is a drop dead gorgeous Model 5 by Tommy Overeynder, specs as follows:

- 3.75" closed, 2.75" blade
- Lightning strike carbon fiber handles, copper pins
- Fine hammer finish pivot
- 2.1 oz

Steel is a proprietary alloy made by the great German knifemaker Dietmar Kressler, it's composition is as follows:

1.2% carbon
15% chrome
1.2% maganese
0.3% vanadium
.05% niobium

Blade is hand satin finished and has a lovely color and liquid like shine. TR has only made three knives in the steel, I have attached an email correspondence from him confirming this and it's chemical makeup.

Walk and talk are perfect as you'd expect. Perfect medium pull with great snap and absolutely zero blade wobble in any direction. Blade closes dead center. The spine of the blade and spring are contoured with the handle, which can be seen in the pics. A great feature that lets this melt into the hand. Truly a top tier piece from a top tier maker.

Knife is un-used, only handled and photographed. Comes with the original leather pouch from the maker, which is quite nice I might add.

Price is $625 OBO all-in via paypal. I pay the fees. Includes shipping to the USA, will ship internationally but buyer will be responsible for all costs and risks associated with doing so. Normal "I'll take it" rules apply.

Please let me know if you have any questions, thanks for looking!

That's a really nice look knife. Enjoyed seeing it. Wish it was in my budget. :(

As I'm metallurgy challenged, would that steel be considered a stainless then or no? Just curious.

Yes it is stainless. I believe anything over 11% chromium is considered as such.

Thanks!
