My knifemaking is sometimes really influenced by horror movies, anime and comic books. I made one of these knives before, and due to some great feedback, I have decided to infect one of my knives again! This knife may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I wanted to take a bit more artistic/themed approach with these, and make them as organic and grotesque looking as I could. I am really excited for The Walking Dead to be coming back to AMC in February, and I'm a longtime fan of the show and of the comic. This one is highly influenced by that show/comic.
Like I said, not for everyone, but I wanted to go out on a limb a bit. Hope you like it!
Specs:
Aldo's 1095 - 1/8 - 1in wide
OAL -7 1/2in - blade length 3 1/2in
Peter's heat treating - 60rc
Dyed green round cord - West System epoxy soaked.
Very fine Scotchbrite finish - Forced ferric chloride and mustard patina
Assymetrical chisel grind - Razor sharp.
Kydex sheath - Neck carry - choice of blood red or black.
