Camillus and Cate, I applied heat and wood stain repeatedly.

Jack, I saw another "RENOWN" in the Forum "Old Knives" thread (page 300, post 5998) but I was hoping you might have more info, thanks for considering it. BTW Jack what's a 'car-boot-sale'?

BEwaaarrre BeWaaarrre- I used RIT dye for the kelly green job which everyone hated more than the original mucous colour.:o

although have had great success in the past with black dye..:D

I prefer garage sales and yard sales. You can never have too many yards and garages. :D

:D:D I have to disagree. I have one yard and one garage, and that sometimes seems excessive to me!
