Is that a maroon linen beer scout in the middle there? I had one of those when they first came out and sold it because I didn't know what a patina was at the time. Then I found Bladeforums and have been enjoying patinas ever since. Too bad I didn't discover it sooner!

Its actually a cocobolo beer scout, came out darker than it really is in the picture

After falling into rabbit hole after rabbit hole, I decided to limit myself to a "Deadly Dozen" for everyday use. I went as far as to create a list of criteria () that must be met before a new knife can be added all while staying under a certain average cost per knife. Here's nine of the twelve. The final three are TBD.

Things are coming along quite nicely!
