These just came in today 😎
Had a chance but let it pass to get a Konygin T90 last month. Then this one came up and I had to have it. This beast is the best flipper I've handled. It's a damn tank but feels so much lighter then you would think.
I kicked myself for doing it but I sold a ZT0770CF Elmax recently. I loved that knife, the weight, blade, thin profile of the scales. Then the very next day after being sold I found this gem. DLC M4! The Carbon fiber scales are better on this model, a bit more grippy and I like the pattern better. This one will stick with me that's for sure!

Something about the T90 has been tempting me into buying it for weeks now. I don't especially love the blade shape or the blackwash, and yet it still looks great!

Anyway thanks for the pics, I never realized how similar those two models are compared to each other.

Konygin T90 - after I saw this knife in a thread I went on a hunt. No luck finding a used one and I couldn't wait !!!! Went to the Knifecenter and bought myself a brand spanking new one which is something I never do. No offense to StryCoShaw but I think this knife looks fantastic and can't wait to add it to my carry rotation.

The M4 770 is one of my favorite knives to carry. It works Great when sharpened on medium or fine DMT then stropped. The toothy edge it takes and how it holds it is Fantastic.

If you take out the spring, to deassist it, put the metal plate back in. All it will need is a decent lube and it works great as a manual. On some the detent is a little weak, so it takes some technique to get it to flip reliably on the first shot.
I found that if I hold my finger just off of the flipper and hit the tab as I pull my finger passed it. This makes the hit on the flipper tab more sudden so it acts as an impromptu detent breaking free, it works great every time.
