Hi, need to make some room in the house, so looking for good homes for the below. Sorry for the horrible pictures, I clearly had some setting wrong on my camera.

All prices include PayPal fees and shipping to US addresses.

Thanks for looking!

TA Davison Swayback Jack - $300SOLD!

Shows some very minor scuffing from normal pocket use.

TA Davison Swayback Jack - $400SOLD!

Shows some very minor scuffing from normal pocket use. Blade looks almost like a bead blast finish, definitely not mirrored.

TA Davison No Liner Knife - $175SOLD!

Shows light wear from normal pocket use.

Case Limited Edition Luck of the Irish Knife - $50
SOLD!

This knife is well used with signs of pocket carry.

Could you send me a few more pictures of the Swayback?
Very interested, but want to know specifically what condition the blade is in, what steel used, and the condition of the bolsters in particular.

Also, what is the finishing on the blade, because it does not appear to be his normal hand-rub? Is that bead-blasted or something similar to it? Doesn't seem to be just the lighting.

Sent you a PM as well.

I think that one in particular is ATS34 and the blade has a bead blasted finish. Beautiful knife.

Thanks for the help man. Sucks that it's a bead blast finish though because I do NOT like that finish personally :(
I'll wait to hear back from gehrm to completely withdraw my interest, but man it sucks that it's not a satin finish. Been looking for a T.A. Davison that's just right for me for a VERY long time, and that would've been THE knife for me if it wasn't bead blasted!

AFAIK, all of Todd's knives are ATS34. You are correct that the blade is not mirror finished (sorry, that should have been in the original ad since the pics are so bad), but is something like bead blasted. I'll see if I can get more pictures later.

Sorry, now I'm confused from the update to the post.

Is the (now second) Swayback a bead blast finish, or another type of finish on the blade?

EDIT: okay, sorry NOW I get it!

Unfortunately, I do not prefer a blasted finish on a blade, for my own reasons, so I will have to pass on the (second) swayback.

That being said, I am still very interested in the one that was added to your post, and is now the first of the two sawybacks.

I am sending a PM with some questions regarding that one, and I might take it depending on the reply.

And sorry, I don't intend to put so much stuff on your sales thread :o
I'll try to relegate most of my future coments to PM's unless I'm claiming a knife for purchase.

For what it's worth, I'm pretty sure that's an acid wash, not a bead blast. It looks just like an acid washed Davison knife I have...

Agree. Here's a pic of one Todd made for me that he termed "acid etched ATS34" IIRC. It's smoother than beadblast, cost extra. If you contact Todd with the serial number, he'll prolly know the details.

OP, check the white balance setting. If not on auto, set to auto. If pics are still yellow and using normal inside light bulbs try the incandescent setting.

OP and I have been talking about that and I'm 99% sure it's a bead blast finish from what he describing, as I have seen a few of the knives Todd has done in the blared finish and they are almost exactly the same as what he is describing to me on this one.

And just for reference here, as per our PMs, I'll take the Micarta Swayback Jack with the Satin finish for $300.

Case and top Davison are sold and shipped. Middle Davison still available. I'm sorry my pictures are so bad, it is a really nice looking knife in person. Thanks!

Surprised this is still available. I own a couple of Todd's knives and they are superb.

Forgive me for interfering but I think there is some confusion on which knife is still available. I know I'm confused.

It might help the sale along if that were clarified.
