Tacony hatchet

[RWC 1988]

I would like some info on this hatchet. It is a small head and marked, Tacony and below that is Mild steel. I have yet to get it sharp. Any info would help.

Tacony is a neighborhood here in Philly. There were a lot of tool works here long ago. Is it old?

They also made hatchets. Search Tacony edge tool works, there's a few sites, some don't open though.

Thanks for the info. After using a magnifying glass it say s solid steel. I can not get it sharp. It is very old.
