"Tactical Bushcraft"

Are you wanting to design something just for the sake of drawing a picture, designing something you're going to make yourself, or are you wanting a custom knife made by someone else and are just making for them to go off of?

when making this knife I am also looking for something that is as pleasurable to look at as it is to hold- sense Im going to have this knife for a good long while.

I definitely think you're on track WRT to comfort being important. I make a couple that have a bit of protection for the fingers, so that you could stab with the knife if you had to. But I've never been trained in any fighting discipline, so I've failed (IMO) every time I've tried to draw anything tactical.

For my future job, special forces, Im making this knife by my own saying as money is short. I still love to travel and explore loads and I cant see buying 2 separate knives that cost hundreds and more, so I am trying to combine the best attributes of both the tactical and bushcraft purposes.

just want a good all around knife that I know wont let me down becuase I made it myself.
