I have recently dipped my hands into Tactical knives, here is my most recent offering. It is made out of 1095 5/32" thick. It has military grade Micarta and a 0.093" kydex sheath/w all screw construction. This knife is by far my best design it fits great in your hand and would make a great hunting or field knife.
This knife along with the rest of my tactical knives will $10 off for all ACTIVE duty US military personel.
Price: $95 ($85 military) shipped to the US, add $8 for Canada. Paypal, Check or Money Order all accepted, paypal fees included in price (paypal prefered).
Specs:
OAL: 9 1/4"
Blade: 4 5/8"
At widest point: 1 1/4"
Thickness: 5/32 1095
Handle: Mil Spec Micarta
Sheath: 0.093" kydex /w all screw construction
Short story: You may have noticed that I wrote "Mil spec Micarta" in the specs. Well two years ago my Grandfather died of a heart attack and left all his tools and supplies with my Grandmother in Montana. This summer we took a trip to Montana to help my clean and organize my Grandmothers basement. While we were there we found 5 4'X4' sheets of Micarta, and when I saw them I remembered making things out of it as a child with my Grandfather, I just had not known what it was when I was younger. So I checked them out and my Grandmother told me they were left overs from Vietnam (My Grandfather was an USAF vet). She said that they used to patch up planes with it and after the war my Grandfather brought some home because he liked it so much. All of the sheets are clearly marked "property of the USAF" "made in the USA 1968" so all of the blades I sell with this story attached are made with Mil spec Micarta. Expect to see a lot of it because I have over 50 sq ft of the stuff .
Thanks for looking. J S. Gravelle.
