Just my personal opinion but 3/16" steel is pretty thick stuff, and with that I believe you should bring your grind lines much higher in the knife, BUT overall a good looking knife! Maybe a little pricey for a tactical knife though.

Thank you. I sold one like it last week for the 300.00. Same grind and same handle. :D

I agree with jsmith, I would like to see one of your knives in a full flat or complete convex grind. Maybe some jimping on the spine. I like the look of your steel, bring the price down around 200 and I will buy one or more.

Also a side note about photographs, take a couple in full light/sun, and some in shade (complete without shadows), and compare which bring out the most detail.

Hella nice looking knives, I admired your last one

I am no professional knife critic, but I think that depending on your balance tastes the grind could be a winner. I also do not think that it is too thick. I like the general shape and look of the knife. I am personally not a big fan of the damascus on a working knife, but to each his own. I give it two thumbs up! I hope it goes to someone who will never need to use it but who will be glad to carry it.

Thank you. I always carry a Damascus knife as my EDC Craig Barr Damascus, Iron wood handle and two brass pins and single mosaic pin in the center. I use it for everything that you are not suppose to do with it. I scrap, cut and pry and if I need a steak knife at a restaurant it will also be the one I use. I do and trust my life with my Damascus knife. Why wear a Timex if you can afford to wear a Rolex.

I think this knife has a place and I am sure the true tactical crowd boys that have broken a knife doing something extreme. Will find it very appealing! And 275dollars for a custom knife is not that bad.

Sweet looking knife... the damascus pattern of the steel goes very well with the pattern of the micarta, and the handle looks very comfortable with a decent choil to choke up on it if you desired. Very nice, stout knife that balances utility with beauty.

I think it looks great for a tactical design. Maybe take the grinds up just a bit to get a somewhat keener edge on it but don't take them up too far. One of my main problems with most dedicated battle blades is they don't have enough meat left in their spines. That one looks plenty pointy to take out throats in the from behind ripping method, and looks like it could survive plunges through a rib cage without breaking. And no...$275.00 is not bad at all for a custom knife, if you make good knives then don't sell yourself too short. Maybe take this one out and put it through some paces and show where it is worth the price...h#ll if you don't have time I'll test it for you :D
