Thanks, guys, I'm really happy with this one. It's nothing spectacular but it just feels right in the hand. And after forming the leather the blade really locks into the sheath securely.

I've found it's pretty durable. It will mar and scratch with use (like any finish) but it gives good corrosion resistance and is easily returned with just light touch up dip if needed.

Great job. Very simple and straightforward. The sheath also fits the design very well.

Why is it still around for that price?

Very nice.

Can you tell me what: "Pins: Polymer encased hidden pin" means?

Where are the pins? How are the scales attatched?

Thanks

There are two through tang pins with a slightly oversized hole milled on the inside of the scale on each side with a connecting channel between them. The epoxy polymer fills the entire channel and around the pins as well as on the scale flats. Basically a standard hidden pin setup with a little more bonding surface.

I think that's one of the best looking blades you've ground and posted here. Good job.

Thanks, John. I have to admit, looking at the pics the lines look a little rough. In the hand though you don't see what the camera does. I'm definitely happy with this style and have an order for one more in that same style now. Of course, I still wish this one would find an owner :D

Don't be ridiculous! It's a unique looking tool. I am going to Arizona with the wife hiking and I wil take it as my EDC blade there. Then carry 'er this summer for work and classes.................Thank you! :)

I'll sharpen 'er up and give it good once over before shipment :D Thanks again!!!
