Tactical Khopesh For Sale – Fully Functional
Hi all. Here’s a newly styled Khopesh for sale. Hope you like it. Very functional.
This one will be available until 2/10/11, then it’s going out with the orders.

Shop Details:
5160 Spring Steel was cut out and Normalized @ 1500 degrees until nonmagnetic, three times, to remove stresses and align crystals. Heat Hardened until blade became nonmagnetic, then quenched in oil. Tempered the blade to a straw hardness @ 550 degrees for 1 hour, letting it air cool and repeating once more.
Measurements:
Total Length = 20 ¾ ”
Blade Length = 14 ½ “
Blade Width = 1 7/8 ”
Blade Thickness = 3/16 “
Handle Length = 6 ¼ ”
Handle Width = 1 ¼ “ x 7/8”
Handle: Cocobolo Wood. Scales attached with hidden pins and glued.
Weight = 1 lb 6 oz
Holes in the blade are to reduce the weight (and for looks).

History on the Khopesh:
While originally these ancient swords were used against the Egyptians, they were so impressed by
them that they adopted them as their own and the Khopesh eventually became the very symbol of
Egyptian authority, with two such swords even found in the tomb of the legendary Pharaoh/Mummy
Tutankhamun (c 1350 BC).
