Featured here is one of my relatively new designs I call the Scorpion. It’s made of 3/16” thick 1095 carbon steel that differentially heat treated with an edge hardness of about Rc 60 to 61. The point is drawn down to Rc 55 for great toughness and the spine is Rc 50ish. Tough black canvas Micarta scales are bolted to the knife’s full tang handle and comes complete with a glass breaker. The Kydex sheath is braided with paracord to allow for horizontal (scout) carry. A leather loop is also supplied to accommodate vertical carry high or low; left or right simply by resetting the Chicago screw position.
Specs:
3/16 inch thick 1095 high carbon steel differentially heat treated.
Handle is black canvas Micarta scales on the knife’s full tang.
Blade Length is 4.75 inches
Overall Length about 10 inches
Kydex sheath (shown)
WTIHDRAWN (I'm gone hunting)
Thanks,
Kelley Ward
