Tactical Knive Invitational (TKI) Report?

Matt got stuck blocking the door.

He asked me to take pictures....I had to use my 5mp phone and there were shadows and people grabbing knives and it was hard for my narrow butt to squeeze in in a lot of situations and shoot a decent pic.

I only shot these because Joe asked Matt to do it and he couldn't. I suck at photography.

Was at the TKI as a guest, work trumps fun, and there were other things I had to do, will send the rest of the photos to Joe tomorrow.

The Allen Elishewitz sword was off the chain, had ground in distil taper and was a real weapon, not just a pretty wallhanger....one of the best pieces in the room, imo.

This was a much better TKI than last year, there was more action, significantly better food and beverage, and a much bigger room. Wait until you see the Rick Lala pictures.

Best Regards,

STeven Garsson

I wasn't there and there are some good pictures of most of the knives on the USN forum but in my opinion Allen Elishewitz gets best knives of the show award. The Tank folder with the mastodon scales is great.

Man I would LOVE to own this..

Am I seeing this right? A collab between T. Marfione and Gavin Hawk? NICE
Thanks you so much for the photos! I also love the collab between Bob Terzuola and Gus Cecchini! Pretty sweet!

STeven, I don't understand. Did Mat get stuck in the door or was he just running security

Hey Gary, he was keeping people out until they were allowed entry, then he was just another buyer. Steve D'lack and Matt have been friends for some time, and Matt is a man to be trusted....I couldn't even get in early, and we were roomies.:D

BTW, Doug, thats and Ultratech, not a Scarab....and it is indeed mad crazy. Tony could have simply butted the abalone up to the bolster, but he keyhole cut it so it was also locked in from the bottom, the cut of abalone underneath the bolster was no thicker than 1/16" of an inch.

Best Regards,

STeven, Mat is a a very close friend, and I hope everyone realizes I was attempting to be funny. I have much respect for Steve, STeven and Mat.
