Tactical Knives Mag Sub-A Scam Or?

I have quit reading TK for the most part. Deadline curves mean I get much more current info here. Most of the reviews and articles seem pretty basic and some border on pandering. And with all due respect to the editor, what's with the cheesy artwork and graphics? A fair amount borders on cartoonish.

I dont like paying that kind of money for that level of quality. I'm starting to balk at American Handgunner because of the cost, and the photos in it qualify as porn:D

Magazines that cost more than books do not make much sense to me. Considering the competition from online sources that are frequently free and it seems doomed to failure.
 
I just renewed my subscription, I've had good dealings with them in the past, let's see what happens.
 
I've called their "customer service" number and was treated to a discusion with two ladies that were a. rude, and b. dumb as a pile of dirt. How a business of any sort would let people like these have even mimimal contact with their customers is amazing. And FWIW, the reason I was calling them was to have a gift subscription sent to my local library in the name of Gadi Blilious, who had passed away a couple of weeks prior. :( :mad: I finally just hung up. geegee
